Istanbul-based singer-songwriter Simge Pınar, after the release of the singles “Biz Hep Aynı” and “Sangria” from the second half of 2018 under the Rakun Music label, introduced her debut album “Güzel Şeyler” in April 2019, produced by Harun Tekin. Describing the album as the “assessment of the first quarter-century spent on Earth,” Simge Pınar quickly earned a place among the notable figures in the alternative music scene with her quality songwriting.
During the quarantine days, she collaborated with Efe Demiral to record and produce “Güzel Şeyler Akustik,” consisting of acoustic arrangements of four songs from her debut album, shared in 2020.
Following the precursor singles “Cevap,” “Kendim Olmalıyım,” “Ay,” and “Yalnızlık Cesaret İster” from her second album, “Sevgideğer” was released on March 25th under the Universal Music Turkey. The acoustic EP “Sevgideğer Akustik”, featuring acoustic versions of the six songs from Sevgideğer and collaborations with valued musicians from the alternative scene, Deniz Tekin, Nova Norda, and Efe Demiral, was released in the early months of 2023.
After sharing the duet “Bi’ Sen Varsın” with Canozan in February, Simge Pınar continues her journey with new singles and concerts.
