Dolu Kadehi Ters Tut, one of the leading independent bands in the local scene, was founded by Mürsel Oğulcan Ava and Uğurhan Özay at the end of 2014.
The duo recorded their debut album, “Polonya’nın Başı Belada,” at home towards the end of 2015. They gained momentum in 2016, and DKTT quickly became one of the most listened-to projects. They released their first studio album, “Dünyanın En İyi Albümü,” in 2017, followed by their “Karanlık” album in 2019. They shared their self-titled album “DKTT” on all digital platforms in 2021.
With their self-produced music videos and stage designs garnering significant attention, the band, with millions of active listeners worldwide, released their fifth album, “Ölüm Dansı,” on August 4, 2023.
Building upon the foundation of Dolu Kadehi Ters Tut, they began sharing a documentary series titled “Dedim Olabilir: Bir Bağımsız Müzik Belgeseli” about the independent music scene in Turkey.
As they enter their 10th year of their careers, the duo continues to perform live and work on new songs.
